The Deanship of Student Affairs at the Arab American University has handed over certificates to the University students who participated in the Excellence Program and graduated from its current session.

It is noteworthy that the Tamayoz Program is an initiative of the Sharek Youth Forum in partnership with Palestinian universities. It seeks to qualify university students for the labor market through programs and events specifically designed to hone their various life skills at the personal, professional and social levels.

For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Fadi Jumaa, congratulated the students on their graduation, stressing the importance of the skills that the students acquired through the activities carried out during the program. He also explained that this achievement under the circumstances indicates the determination of the Palestinian youth is the best evidence of the Palestinians’ worthiness for life and a bright future. Dr. Jumaa pointed out that the University always strives for excellence through its academic programs, stressing that whoever wants to excel must acquire diverse and different skills.

For her part, the guest, a former graduate of the program, Faten Isaid, spoke about her experience with the Tamayoz program, noting the extent to which she benefited and the impact the program had on her in practical life. She also provided some advice to the graduates, especially when searching for work.

In turn, the program coordinator at the University, Bilal Al-Ashqar, thanked the Sharek Youth Forum for their support and care, stressing that the current session was distinguished by its rich experiences despite all the obstacles. He also thanked the students for their commitment to attending the activities that were implemented, which indicates the real benefit of such programs in developing the students’ capabilities and enriching their experience.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to the University students participating in the Tamayoz program, and a presentation of a number of experiences as well as experiences that the students went through during the program.
