The Graduate Affairs Department at the Arab American University organized a meeting to students where they hosted a businessman who graduated from the university, Mr. Mahdi Hamdan who talked about his career after graduation and the difficulties he faced and defeated.
The V.P for Community Affairs Dr. Nizam Thiab started the meeting by asserting on the importance of hosting university graduates as they will transfer their success stories and experiences to students and that will give students hope.

Mr. Hamdan appreciated the chance that the university gave him to talk about his life and work experience, and expressed that he is proud to be An Arab American University graduate. He gave students advices about how to be pioneers and how to start new projects, and talked about how he started his own company at the UAE and how his company is currently competing the biggest companies in light industry.
