Abeer Husein, PhD., is an assistant professor at Arab American University Palestine, Faculty of Nursing. she obtained her BSN from Al-Quds University , MSN from Bir-Zeit University, . Ayed completed his Ph.D. at Ain-Shams University-Cairo (2017) and her research topic was “Improve quality of life among children with ASD.” Husein worked in Neonal ICU at Al-Makassed Hospital ,Head nurse at Al-Quds Maternity Hospital and a Pediatric nurse.As a community health nurse Dr. Husein served at the Lutheran World Federation mobile clinics for eight years,and afterwards she joined the international organizations in different administrative roles as supervisor and monitor for emergency health programs in cooperation with local MoH and NGOs. She has been a nurse for over 30 years. Her clinical background is in Neonatal ICU ,Maternity and Pediatric care units and Community health nursing. She has been teaching for over 10 years in different universities in Palestine. She has published several articles in Community health. Dr. Husein presents both nationally and internationally at nursing conferences on a variety of topics.
