Faeda Eqtait is assistant prof. of Maternal and Child Health Nursing at AAUP with eleven years of experience in education . She started her professional life at St. Luke,s Hospital in Nablus ,working as head of female department, assistant of nursing director and teaching nursing at the school which belongs to the same hospital. From her work experience she felt that women's health is neglected especially during critical periods. This was inspired her to continue her education in the field of women's health. She had her master's degree in Maternal Child Health Nursing from Al- Quds University. Eleven years ago, Faeda moved to the academic work at Arab American University – faculty of nursing, where she got her experience as a lecturer, coordinator of nursing department for two years and clinical coordinator. In 2015, she joined the Ph.D. Program at the University of Jordan to continue her education.
