Osama Salameh was born in Schongau, Germany. He received his M.Sc.degree and Ph.D.degree in Computer Engineering from Odessa State Polytechnic University, Ukraine in 1990 and 1996 respectively. During his career, he was employed by several universities in Palestine and Jordan. He is a former member SMACS research group at Ghent University and a full-time professor at the Arab American University. His main research interests include queuing models and performance evaluation of computer and telecommunication networks
