Dynamical and thermal properties of class B lasers (including semiconductor lasers)

In this project, we will study experimentally the main dynamical and thermal properties for different semiconductor lasers including VCSELs (vertical cavity surface emitting laser diodes) and quantum dot and dash lasers in both continuous operation and pulsed operation. Mainly, we will study the peak power, threshold current density, resistance, and wavelengths at different temperatures in both pulsed and continuous operations
