What will I learn

In a typical biology & biotechnology curriculum, the biology & biotechnology student will learn how to explain the various biological phenomena that occur in living organisms. In order to do so, he will learn:

The concepts of cell biology, genetics, ecology, anatomy & physiology, and microbiology.
Conducting various scientific experiments.
Scientific research methods.
Computational biology (bioinformatics).

The student will learn the applications of biology in medicine, engineering, agriculture, and others. Studying biology & biotechnology will help the student develop critical thinking skills in biological aspects. There will be a focus on teaching methods, which will increase the student's chances of getting a job in the Directorates of Education.

How will I learn

Theoretical lectures to understand the basics and stimulate thinking and extrapolation.
Practical laboratory procedures that help prove and understand theoretical topics.
Writing a theoretical or practical scientific research through which the student gains the necessary experience to write thesis and research in postgraduate studies.
Learning bioinformatic skills required for data analysis in biology.
Theoretical lectures in teaching methods.
Giving classroom sessions to apply theoretical lectures.
