 Fundamentals of Dental Science

  • Introduction to dentistry and dental technology techniques.
  • Anatomy and physiology, with a focus on the oral and maxillofacial structures.
  • Dental materials science, understanding the properties of materials used in prosthetic fabrication.
  • Basics of oral pathology and its impact on oral and dental health.

 Techniques in Dental Prosthetics Manufacturing

  • Designing and fabricating fixed prosthetics, such as crowns and bridges.
  • Production of removable prosthetics, including partial and complete dentures.
  • Developing skills in tooth shaping and customization based on patient needs.
  • Creating dental molds and impressions, selecting the most suitable materials for each case.

 Advanced Technology in Dental Manufacturing

  • 3D printing applications in dental prosthetic design.
  • Digital design and fabrication using CAD/CAM technology.
  • Utilizing advanced software for the development and customization of prosthetics.

 Orthodontic and Implant Technology

  • Designing and producing orthodontic devices to assist orthodontists.
  • Understanding dental implant technology and designing implant-supported restorations.
  • Studying the scientific foundations of dental restoration and cosmetic enhancements.

Dental Laboratory Skills and Material Handling

  • Working with dental materials such as acrylic, ceramic, and zirconia.
  • Mastering mold-making techniques and fabrication of denture bases.
  • Making necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and function of dental prosthetics.

 Laboratory Management and Quality Control

  • Managing dental laboratories and overseeing manufacturing processes.

  • Handling patient records and processing dentist orders efficiently.
