In order to keep up with improving and starting new academic programs Faculty of Supporting Medical Sciences opened the Public and Environment Health department in line with the global trend towards environment and negative impact of the environment on human health fields. Controlling these effects requires focusing on the environmental health sciences and the environment’s risk factors including chemical and biological disasters and physical and environmental factors. The studies of the environmental distribution sources of such elements, mentioned above, human exposure to these factors, environmental risk assessment and prevention and intervention strategies. The department works for graduates to be able to contribute significantly with the ongoing efforts to protect human health and work efficiently in order to meet the challenges that face our communities’ both national and local health system.
