Since its inception in the year 2000, the Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab American University has provided many distinguished academic programs at the local, regional and international levels, such as a Bachelor's degree in Oral and Dental Surgery and a Doctor of Dental Surgery program. In addition to being the first local university to launch postgraduate programs in various dental specialties, such as a residency program in orthodontics, a higher specialization program in prosthodontics, several clinical master's programs in addition to a higher diploma program in dental implants. And here is the college taking a new step in opening supportive dental programs, the first of which was the Diploma in Dental Technology program, which is the only program at the national level, which in turn met with high demand due to the lack of such programs at the local level, in addition to the small number of regional and international universities that provide such a program. Based on the labor market’s need for such programs, the “Bachelor of Dental Technology” program was recently approved in the college, as the first batch was accepted at the beginning of the fall semester of the academic year 2021/2022. In the end, it should be mentioned that the Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab American University is the only one - in Palestine - that has got the accreditation of the European Association for Dental Education ( ADEE leader participant).
