Faculty Council members
The Dean of the Faculty leads the faculty council. The Faculty Council provides the necessary guidance and takes the necessary procedures to enhance the quality of teaching and research. And decides a necessary related to the faculty members, administrative members, the engineering programs, and their development.
Advisory Board
The Faculty of Engineering advisory board offers guidance on integrating external experiences to enhance the Faculty's image and support its leadership in improving teaching and research quality. It also reviews educational outcomes to ensure course relevance to industry needs and facilitates connections with companies for training opportunities and relationship building at both national and international levels.
Successive deans
At the Faculty level, the dean assists the college department chairs and leads the faculty council. As a member of the Deans Council, the Dean reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The Dean's responsibilities include overseeing the various departments and guiding faculty members in teaching, research, and service. This involves ensuring that the faculty's activities align with the University's goals and adhere to international academic standards, governance, and quality assurance protocols. The Dean is also responsible for managing the faculty's budget, ensuring it aligns with the University's development plan.
In addition, the Dean serves as the primary contact for recruitment and retention efforts and chairs regular faculty council meetings. The Dean also establishes several committees within the faculty to support its ongoing growth and operations.
