Overview

Medical Equipment Engineering is an interdisciplinary program that combines biology and medical theory with specialized training in electrical, physics, material, and mechanical engineering. It applies engineering principles to develop devices, equipment, computer systems, and software used in healthcare to improve human health and quality of life.

The Bachelor’s program provides essential skills and knowledge to drive change in the healthcare system, including advances in imaging, robotics, materials engineering, prosthetics, and computer science.

Students will study mechanical, electrical engineering, artificial intelligence (e.g., machine learning, neural networks, fuzzy logic), and modern biomedical systems.
