It is a great honor for me to serve as the dean of this esteemed college, which houses a group of creative and innovative minds in the field of Information Technology, especially in an era filled with challenges and opportunities. We here at the Faculty of Information Technology are committed to provide high-quality education and direct our efforts towards achieving excellence and innovation at the local, regional, and global levels.

The Information Technology sector is one of the fastest-growing fields in the world today, necessitating that we, as a university and as a college, remain fully aware and consistently follow the latest advancements and trends in this rapidly evolving domain. We are dedicated to equipping our students with the knowledge, experience, skills and tools they need to become innovative leaders in this field that is marked by excellence, development, and creativity.

The Faculty of Information Technology was established to fulfill the market's need for new technology, which is a major factor in our daily life. The faculty has developed academic programs by consulting skilled people in the local market to ensure graduating qualified students, able to integrate into the market to face future challenges once they graduate. The challenge is not only about using information technology, but also about keeping up with its rapid developments. Faculty of Information Technology has been able to innovate in this field by developing its academic plans and providing the latest equipment and laboratories to meet the market needs. The faculty offers master degree in computer science and a number of distinguished bachelor programs based on technology multimedia, geographic information systems, computer science, and computer networks and information security.

What are the reasons for studying at the Arab American University?

The Faculty of Information Technology provides the  students with theoretical and practical knowledge. It introduces them to independent learning, e-learning, and communication skills.
The faculty aims at producing confident students who can keep up with scientific and technical developments, and who later become competent graduates in critical and analytical thinking. In addition, it aims to encourage scientific research, teamwork, and social intelligence.
The Faculty regularly holds extracurricular activities such as workshops, sessions, and conferences that tackle different relevant subjects.
