Faculty of Modern Media

The Faculty believes that education is a short journey. However, it is full of values that drive positive change and service to the Palestinian and humanitarian community. Therefore, the Faculty seeks to establish a new phase in teaching modern media by pushing students starting from their first year to be part of the field and the labor market while they are studying. The Faculty is based on the slogan “Studying in the Field,” within a teaching philosophy called “the model of teaching media similar to teaching medical students in educational hospitals.”

The Faculty of Modern Media is located on the University campus in the city of Ramallah, in Al Rayhan area, where the campus is fifteen minutes’ drive to the city of Ramallah and Al Bireh. Public transportation is easily available, which makes it a suitable place. It is located in the middle of the cities in the West Bank. The University is surrounded by a group of residential neighborhoods, peaceful villages, commercial centers, sports and entertainment facilities linked by a modern transportation network.

Through its departments and activities, the Faculty provides a supportive university community for students of all classifications, as there are daily activities and initiatives in which students participate. The Faculty is also active in organizing systematic and extracurricular activities as well as events in order to provide a university community that supports talents and reveals students’ desires and inclinations. This makes the relationship among students dominated by respect and appreciation. The University community is proud that it is diverse, as it includes students from all Palestinian regions, whether from the West Bank and Jerusalem regions as well as the Palestinian regions in 1948. The Faculty, through its various activities, seeks to integrate students and create interactive links to build successful social relationships.

The Faculty of Modern Media provides a modern and contemporary educational environment. This environment is considered a typical study environment in terms of scientific laboratories, modern computer halls, and the classrooms equipped with the latest digital devices. The Faculty also provides the necessary equipment for field work and employees with academic and practical experience for special activities inside and outside the University. The university also has a group of internal and external auditoriums that accommodate all student activities. Moreover, there is a modern library, a digital library, laboratories, a study studio, a modern digital radio, and a student interactive laboratory that hosts their discussions.
