Overview

The "Digital Media program" offered by the Faculty of Modern Media is based on a new curriculum in an ever-renewing technological media field, enabling students to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills to become journalists engaged in an ever-renewing digital environment. This is by making the teaching structure based on field work, providing an educational environment enhanced by laboratories dedicated to experimentation and presenting media content, and communicating with a team of academics and specialized experts.

This Department keeps pace with the developments in the digital work environment that the media field is witnessing with an unrivaled pace. The “Bachelor in Digital Media” that the Faculty offers is about a new methodology in the renewable technological media field and it works to cover the training areas for students to make the education style depending on the field work more and provides an enhanced environment in specialized laboratories to try to present the media content and communicate with academics and experts of the field.

The program focuses on providing students with the needed skills that enable students to work independently and be able to create media content. This happens by empowering students to produce media by themselves and start pioneer projects in a world that is no longer a monopoly to the large organizations. The program will work to graduate “leading media specialists” who are creative in technology, culture, media and arts.
