Faculty Council members
The Dean of the Faculty leads the faculty council. The Faculty Council provides the necessary guidance and takes the necessary procedures to enhance the quality of teaching and research. And decides a necessary related to the faculty members, administrative members, the Sciences programs, and their development.
Advisory Board
The Faculty of Sciences advisory board offers guidance on integrating external experiences to enhance the Faculty's image and support its leadership in improving teaching and research quality. It also reviews educational outcomes to ensure course relevance to industry needs and facilitates connections with companies for training opportunities and relationship building at both national and international levels.
Successive deans
At the Faculty of Sciences, the Dean plays a vital role in supporting the department chairs and leading the Faculty Council. As a member of the Deans' Council, the Dean reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The Dean’s responsibilities encompass overseeing the various departments, guiding faculty in their teaching, research, and service roles, ensuring alignment with the University's goals and adherence to international academic standards, governance, and quality assurance protocols. The Dean is also tasked with managing the faculty's budget and ensuring it is in line with the University's strategic development plan.
Additionally, the Dean serves as the primary point of contact for faculty recruitment and retention efforts and chairs regular Faculty Council meetings. The Dean also establishes and chairs multiple committees within the faculty to foster its ongoing growth and support its operations.
