About the center
The AAUP Heart Center, established in October 2016 at the Faculty of Nursing at Arab American University, is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to advancing cardiovascular health. Officially licensed by the American Heart Association (AHA), the center is equipped with the latest technology for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training. It offers comprehensive courses to a wide range of participants, including healthcare professionals, nursing staff, allied medical sciences students, and students from the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing.
The center's vision is to improve cardiovascular health and reduce deaths from heart disease and stroke, with a commitment to building a healthier future. Its mission is to be a relentless force in creating a world where people live longer, healthier lives. Through the AHA’s guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care, the center provides lifesaving training that is globally recognized, equipping healthcare providers, caregivers, and community members with the skills needed to respond to cardiovascular emergencies effectively
