Overview

Recognizing the role played by the study of law as an important tributary of the scientific renaissance, as it provides society with its needs of legal professionals, experts and legal experts, the Faculty of Law, through the Law \ Concentration on Law in English on the university campus in Ramallah, aspires to be a legal center in Palestine in light of the rapid developments witnessed by the country in the legal field, and to deal with international challenges, as the English language has become the language of international communication, especially in various legal transactions.

Vision

The vision of Law \ Concentration on Law in English Program is to build a society based on rights and justice by preparing specialized cadres in law.

Mission

The main mission of Law \ Concentration on Law in English Program is to make students fully aware and cognizant of the rules of justice through theoretical and practical study, and to contribute to spreading legal culture in society.

Goals

Preparing qualified graduates to practice legal work.
Disseminating legal knowledge and scientific research in various legal specializations.
Contributing to serving the community and developing the environment by spreading legal awareness.
Providing legal consultations and training in various legal, Sharia and economic specializations.

Career of Graduates

Graduates of this program are expected to be qualified to work in different fields in the legal sectors such as:

Work in the civil society legal institutions, including human rights organizations.
Work in institutions and official departments.
Work in various international organizations.
Work in the legal profession, the judiciary and in public prosecutions.
Work in the human rights organizations Work as legal advisors for ministries, companies and institutions.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this program, students should be equipped with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and abilities to excel in their endeavors.

Employment

The ability to join all different legal jobs: such as regular and Sharia law, regular and Sharia judiciary, and various legal consultations.

Higher Studies

The ability to enroll in postgraduate studies in all branches of law locally, regionally and internationally.

Legal Personality

Preparing generations with a legal personality capable of facing challenges and dealing with them according to the rules of justice and law.

Scientific Research

The ability to write scientific legal research in a correct format, while following all the rules of scientific research, and then work to publish this research in prestigious scientific legal journals and in all branches of law locally and internationally.

Legal Analysis

Graduating students who are able to understand different legal arguments and ideas, build concepts on them, and anticipate their future based on a sound legal scientific approach.

Practical application

The ability to use a sound applied legal approach to everything that has been studied theoretically, and to link theories to practical reality.
