About Program

Overview

Our MSc Cyber Security will prepare graduates and professionals to become part of a rapidly growing field of securing computing devices. By learning to design, implement and manage computer-based systems security.

They will develop the skills and confidence to succeed in a wide range of cyber-security roles, including security designer, penetration tester, information security professional and digital forensics officer. Starting with the fundamentals, they will gain a broad understanding of the different levels of computer and network security.

As they progress, they will explore both the technical aspects and the logistics of planning and implementing network security management and secure systems development. They will also learn how to investigate systems after a breach and in addition to advanced areas such as IOT security and cryptography and their applications.

The following points are an elaboration on the uniqueness of our MSc Cyber Security, but not limited to:

Comprehensive master’s degree addresses diverse areas of cyber security including network security, digital forensics and information security management.
An Up-to-date master’s degree addresses most recent areas of cyber security such as advanced network security, secure systems development, penetration testing and IOT security.
A very technical oriented master’s degree in which courses will be taught in lectures and hands-on exercises in the labs.

Promote in students an understanding of the relationship of cyber security to artificial intelligence and other technological fields.
Demonstrate proficiency in fundamental cyber security principles and practices.
Provide the students with the knowledge and skills needed to assume a leadership role in the advancement of cyber security.
Provide students with an understanding of the role of cyber security in different types of organizations.
Strengthen the ability of students to use critical thinking and problem solving in cyber security.
