Overview

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Provide students with an understanding of the relationship between biostatistics, epidemiology and data science.
Develop the students’ knowledge of contemporary problems and opportunities in epidemiology.
Provide students with the ability to design, conduct and interpret clinical research and studies.
Promote in students an understanding of the role of data science and artificial intelligence in epidemiology and healthcare.
Enable the student to apply fundamental knowledge and skills of data science to find solutions to epidemiological challenges.
Strengthen student’s ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative research in epidemiology to improve public health.

Lead clinical research efforts and use advanced epidemiologic and biostatistical methods in analysis of clinical research and studies.

Examine, evaluate and manage new developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing in epidemiology and healthcare.

Health Data Mining & Analysis

Utilize data science tools and techniques to mine and analyze large sets of health data.

Public Health Challenges & Strategies

Assess emerging challenges in epidemiology and develop strategies that will improve public health.

Epidemiologic Research & Data Interpretation

Conduct research on questions in epidemiology, interpret and analyze data using statistical software and communicate results effectively.
