This came as a natural result of the electronic openness of the world, which has led to the openness of trade, circulation, and offer of products. The process of buying and selling has become easier than before because it reaches distant countries and stays available around the clock without restrictions. Thus, e-commerce has become a process of buying and selling products through the internet, without stores, warehouses, or additional cost, through an electronic mediator, which is the website, which means saving a lot of expenses and obtaining a global coverage area, not just a local one, through the use of the internet network that transcends borders.

E-commerce is connected to companies that have stores on the ground as a type of marketing or expanding the scope of coverage, especially after the events that the world went through. As such, e-commerce revived and became one of the most important means of marketing, buying and selling without contact. E-commerce has been divided into two types in terms of transactions. The first is (B2C), that is, transactions between companies and consumers, and the other is (B2B), which is about transactions between companies with each other. The two types aim to sell products easily to potential customers at any time and from anywhere through any digital device.

This program provides the students with an opportunity to enhance legal knowledge and research skills in light of the spread of electronic commerce, so that they become distinguished researchers in a precise legal specialty.
