About Program

The goals of this program is to produce leading students who are prepared to work scientifically and professionally in Mathematics, statistics, and Computer Science. The goals of the program are as follows:

• Enable students with the abilities to apply fundamental knowledge of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science in different branches of science and engineering.

• Enable students by teaching them the skills needed to design Mathematical, statistical, and Computer science studies.

• Prepare students who will use the language of mathematics and computer science, including specialized vocabulary and symbols, to express mathematical and statistical ideas precisely.

• Develop and implement ways and means to ensure the quality of performance and outputs from the program of Mathematics and Statistics / Minor Computer Science.

• Prepare students who understand problems from real-life data and then apply appropriate mathematical and statistical strategies to find acceptable solutions with the help of computer science

• Enable students with the ability to organize specialized courses in computer programs used in Mathematics and statistics.

The graduates of the department of  Mathematics and Statistics / Minor Computer Science in the AAUP tend to be highly satisfied with employment. They can work as teachers in private and publics schools, consultants in financial foundations, programmers, workers in fields use Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Computer security, Bio-informatics, etc ,and in each field require a very strong background in mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science.
