The Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab American University hosted lectures by dentists for the northern governorates, organized by the Palestinian Oral Health Unit, targeting students of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University.

This event took place with the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hazem Khanfar, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Mohammad Jaradat, representatives of the Oral Health Unit, Dr. Yassin Kittaneh, Dr. Ahmed Al-Souqi, and dentists participating in the theoretical program.

In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Hazem Khanfar, Vice President for Academic Affairs, welcomed the attendees and stressed the University's constant endeavor to develop academic programs. He pointed out the importance of hosting experts with the aim of transferring their expertise to students and benefiting from it in their academic and practical lives. He stressed the continuation of cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Health to host scientific programs for dentists in the country.

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Mohammad Jaradat, welcomed the representatives of the Oral Health Unit and the dentists participating in the theoretical lectures organized on the University campus, to benefit the students of the Faculty of Dentistry at the university, especially since the students need those with practical experience, and this is what the Faculty seeks with the support of the University administration. He also stressed the importance of organizing such theoretical and practical lectures.

Dr. Alaa Hussein and Dr. Mahmoud Modallal, lecturers at the Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab American University, presented theoretical lectures in the specialties of oral surgery and gum diseases.
