Researcher Olfat Abdelfattah Omarieh, Physics student at Arab American University Faculty of Graduate Studies, defended her master thesis titled “Physical Design and Diagnosis of Germanium / Indium Selenide / Gallium Sulfide Hybrid Devices”.

The researcher discussed diagnosing hybrid formula, manufactured from germanium, indium selenide and gallium sulfide chips, 200 nanometers thick each. Also using two layers of germanium and indium selenide as a base to sediment gallium sulfide. Those chips made using physical evaporation method. Structural and photodynamic studies, resistance spectrum, voltage curves and flow proved that this hybrid formula sounds promising to use in micro-transistors as it works like plasmodium devices and microwave resonator.

By the end, the committee of Thesis supervisor and head of committee Dr. Atef Qasrawi, Arab American University internal examiner Dr. Adli Saleh and external examiner from An-Najah University Dr. Khalid Alawi, decided to give Olfat Omarieh a master degree.
