A number of students from the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University have participated in an intensive training course at the University of Oxford in Britain, as part of the university's efforts to provide its students with the best learning and training opportunities.
This is done as part of a series of partnerships concluded by the Faculty with prestigious international universities for the sake of developing students' skills and qualifying them for the labor market.
The participating students expressed their happiness with this opportunity, which allowed them to learn about the latest medical technologies and interact with professors and students of different nationalities. They pointed out that the course contributed to expanding their scientific and cognitive horizons as well as enhancing their self-confidence.
Dr. Zaben indicated that this participation aims to link the theoretical aspect that students receive at the University with the practical aspect, through training in hospitals and specialized medical centers. It also aims to develop students' skills in communication, teamwork and problem solving.
Dr. Zaben stressed the importance of the partnership with Oxford University, which contributes to enhancing academic and cultural exchange between students and professors at both universities. He pointed out that this partnership will open new horizons for joint cooperation in the field of scientific research and training.
