What will I learn

After meeting the admission requirements to study medical imaging, the student begins their academic journey with basic courses in biology, chemistry, and physics, especially since the student ultimately earns a Bachelor of Science degree in medical imaging. Later, from the second year through the fourth year, the student studies anatomy and physiology, in addition to all matters related to X-rays, including their production, risks, and how to handle them. The student also learns how to interact with patients, provide the best care, and position them properly to ensure complete protection and obtain the best diagnostic images. This is done through lectures and field training in medical centers and hospitals. The student studies the theoretical principles of each modality individually and how to improve the quality of medical images to achieve the fastest medical diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

How will I learn

The teaching methodology in the department follows the university's policy of direct face-to-face education through regular scientific lectures divided into two semesters, with mandatory field training during the summer semester after completing the second academic year. The program also relies on several practical laboratories in addition to field training in hospitals and medical centers.
