Waleed Afifi is one of the owners of Afifi Group and the head of division of the Public Transportation & Logistics division at Afifi Group which encompasses over 20 companies engaged in transportation, tourism, hotels, information technology, investments – especially in Arab-led startups and smart mobility companies, real estate and international trade. 

In addition to his business activities, Mr. Afifi is the co-founder and board member of Qudra Network and serves as the Chairman of the Nazareth Tourism and Culture Association and is a member of the Public Committee for the Fight Against Violence.

He is actively engaged in social initiatives with a focus on advancing Arab society within the job market, enhancing the education system, and empowering women and the young generation. He serves as a board director at Hasoub, an NGO dedicated to fostering the next generation of Arab tech entrepreneurs. He also oversees the venture-capital and private equity initiative, Hasoub Angels. Mr. Afifi recently assumed his role as a co-chairman at Co-Impact, a pioneering NGO working to increase Arab representation in the private sector. He is also a board director at Al Fanar, an Arab-led social venture focused on workforce development and a board director at Qudra, an organization of Philanthropists network consisting of prominent Arab businesspeople and donors, that aims to increase the social impact of donations by learning, sharing knowledge and to help them acquire tools within the philanthropy field.

Mr. Afifi holds a B.A in Business Administration from Birzeit University, a diploma in Finance and Financial Accounting from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), as well as an MSc in Management Technology from the University of Wales (UWIST), United Kingdom.
