Arab American University - Ramallah Campus

Under the Auspices of His Excellency Mr. President Mahmoud Abbas, the National Digital Transformation Center is organizing the second edition of the International Digital Transformation Conference: "Prospects and Challenges of Digital Transformation in the Local Government”. The conference will take place on January 20, 2025, at the university's campus in Ramallah.

The event is held in partnership with the Ministry of Local Governance and the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, in collaboration with the Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies (PITA), the Municipal Development and Lending Fund, the Palestinian Information Technology Science Association, and the Association of Palestinian Local Authorities. It is also Funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The conference focuses on digital transformation in local government with the aim of enhancing efficiency and achieving digital inclusion at the municipal and local government levels, aligning with the national vision for comprehensive digital transformation in Palestine.
