The Arab American University is seeking to hire an Activities Officer in the "Communication and Public Relations Department" on a temporary contract at the University campus in Ramallah.
The University is looking to hire professional competencies characterized by diligence, loyalty, commitment to instructions and regulations, as well as the ability to work within a team in a professional work environment to support its activities and internal and external events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and organizing events: organizing events inside and outside the university, receiving guests, and arranging all necessary preparations.
- Assisting in preparing and implementing the department's strategies to achieve its media and communication goals.
- Managing the University's social media accounts on social media, and responding to public inquiries.
- Providing administrative and logistical support for the department's work and activities.
- Preparing periodic reports on the activities and events supervised by the department.
Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, communication and public relations, public relations, or a related specialization.
- The applicant must have at least one year of practical experience in organizing events or managing social media.
- Preference will be given to those who have experience or training courses in the basics of protocol, etiquette, receiving guests, and organizing events.
