
The Arab American University is seeking to hire an “Administrative Assistant” in the Office of the Assistant to the President for Administrative and Financial Affairs - Ramallah Campus on a full-time temporary contract.
The employee is expected to be organized, cooperative, maintain professionalism at work, organize and manage office work and coordinate daily administrative activities efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organizing and managing incoming and outgoing mail, reports and documents and archiving them.
- Organizing meetings and appointments, and ensuring the availability of documents and papers necessary for these meetings.
- Coordinate and manage daily activities in the office and ensure accurate and rapid workflow.
- Follow up on the signing of agreements and implement their provisions with the concerned parties and archive them duly.
Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:
- The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in one of the following specializations: business administration, management information systems, or a relevant specialization.
- The applicant must have at least one year practical experience in the field of work.
- The applicant must have excellent skills in Microsoft office programs.
- The applicant must have organizational and administrative skills.
- The applicant must be Proficient in English and Arabic, reading, writing and speaking.
- The applicant must be a resident of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate or be willing to reside there.
