The Arab American University is seeking to hire a (Dental Laboratory Technician) on a part-time contract in Ramallah Campus.

The applicant is expected to have solid knowledge of dental and prosthetics manufacturing techniques, to be accurate and have excellent manual skills to work on teeth and prosthetics accurately. The applicant is also expected to always provide high-quality products and adhere to health and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To design and manufacture dental and prosthetics installations according to the required specifications.
2. To ensure quality and accuracy in all manufactured products.
3. To receive the keepings of the laboratory sub-warehouse.
4. To provide students with the necessary tools and materials during the practical lecture in the laboratory.
5. To train students for the practical laboratory requirements, each according to his/her specialization and under the supervision of the course instructor.
6. To discuss educational, practical and pathological cases with students inside the laboratory according to the pathological condition and under the supervision of the course instructor.
7. To supervise and follow up on general safety matters before and after each practical lecture in the laboratory.
8. To prepare orders for materials, tools and equipment required for each laboratory before the start of each semester.
9. To follow up on new developments and technologies in the field of dental industry and remains ready to learn and improve his/her skills
10. To ensure the application of the infection prevention policy and monitoring students during their work in the laboratory.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

1. The applicant must have a bachelor's degree as a dental technician from a recognized university or college.
2. The applicant must have a practical experience in the specialty of more than one year.
3. The applicant must have a Palestinian professional practice certificate from the Dental Technicians Syndicate.
