The Arab American University is seeking to hire a faculty member to work in the Faculty of Medicine / Obstetrics and Gynecology starting from the fall semester 2024/2025.

The faculty member is expected to be able to teach, give lectures and interactive lessons, as well as use virtual reality devices. The applicant is also expected to be committed to transferring the necessary knowledge and skills to students and to be highly professional and committed to professional ethics, as well as to be a positive role model for students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Teach and guide students in understanding complex medical concepts and apply them practically, including clinical training and giving lectures.
2. To guide students in virtual reality laboratories and various practical laboratories.
3. To conduct exams and assessments for students.
4. To conduct innovative research and studies and participate in scientific seminars.
5. To supervise students' research, reports, and scientific activities and guide them scientifically and ethically.
6. To provide health care to patients.
7. To adhere to deadlines.
8. To participate in curriculum evaluation and development.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

• The applicant must have a bachelor's degree in medicine from an accredited university.
• The applicant must have a Palestinian board certificate or equivalent / specialization in obstetrics and gynecology.
• It is preferable that the applicant has experience in teaching and academic work.
• It is preferable that the applicant is interested in scientific research.
