The Arab American University is seeking to hire "Faculty Members" on a part-time contract to work in the Faculty of Information Technology / University Campus in Jenin, starting from the fall semester 2024-2025.

The faculty member is expected to be able to teach and deliver lectures and interactive lessons, and to be committed to conveying the necessary knowledge and skills to students. The faculty member is also expected to be highly professional, committed and be a good role model for students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To teach and deliver face-to-face and online lectures.
2. To conduct exams and assessments for students.
3. To conduct research and studies and participate in scientific seminars.
4. To abide by deadlines.
5. To participate in evaluating and developing curricula.
6. To provide guidance and counseling to students.
7. Commitment to office hours.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

• The applicant must hold a Ph.D. or Master's degree from a recognized university in one of the following specializations:
  1. Information Technology.
  2. Computer Science.
  3. Multimedia Technology.
  4. Computer Networks and Information Security.
• It is preferable that the applicant has experience in teaching and academic work for a period of not less than one year after obtaining the Ph.D. or the Master's degree.
• It is preferable that the applicant has a published research activity in reputable, indexed journals and participated in relevant conferences.
