The Arab American University is seeking to hire a "Faculty Member" in the Faculty of Engineering / Department of Architecture Engineering, starting from the fall semester of the academic year 2024/2025.

The faculty member is expected to be able to teach and deliver lectures as well as interactive lessons. The faculty member is also expected to be committed to conveying the necessary knowledge and skills to students, to be highly professional, committed and to be a positive role model for students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and delivering face-to-face and online lectures.
2. Conducting exams and assessments for students.
3. Conducting research and studies and participating in scientific seminars.
4. Adhering to deadlines.
5. Participating in curriculum evaluation and development.
6. Providing academic guidance and counseling to students.
7. Supervising student research.
8. Commitment to office hours.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

1. The applicant must have a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Architecture Engineering from an accredited university.
2. It is preferable that the applicant has experience in teaching and academic work for a period of not less than two years after obtaining a Ph.D. or Master's degree.
3. It is preferable that the applicant has scientific research published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
4. It is preferable that the applicant has an interest in scientific research.
5. It is preferable that the applicant has practical experience in the labor market.
6. Full-time dedication to the University.
