The Arab American University is seeking to hire a Teaching and Research Assistant in the Faculty of Medicine on a temporary full-time contract.

The applicant is expected to be committed to helping students achieve their academic goals and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervising and teaching in the laboratories of the Faculty of Medicine and hospitals accredited for clinical training.
2. Supervising interactive sessions and providing medical consultations.
3. Supervising students' research and helping them develop ideas, analyze data, and write reports.
4. Qualifying students and contributing to providing high-quality health care through education, research, and community participation.
5. Participating in research and publishing in medical journals.
6. Participating in academic activities, seminars, workshops, and other events that enhance the education and research environment.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

• The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree in medicine from a recognized university.
• The applicant must hold a Palestinian professional practice certificate from the Ministry of Health and the Palestinian Doctors Syndicate.
• It is preferable to have experience in the field of teaching.
• It is preferable that the applicant has an interest in scientific research.
