The Arab American University is seeking to hire "Faculty Members" on a part-time contract to work in the Faculty of Modern Sciences / University Campus in Ramallah, starting from the fall semester of the academic year 2024/2025.

The faculty member is expected to be able to teach and deliver lectures as well as interactive lessons. The faculty member is also expected to be committed to conveying the necessary knowledge and skills to students, to be highly professional, committed and to be a positive role model for students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Teaching courses related to architectural drawing and design, architectural technology, and landscape architecture in person and online.
2. Conducting exams and assessments for students.
3. Conducting research and studies and participating in scientific seminars.
4. Adhering to deadlines.
5. Participating in evaluating and developing curricula.
6. Providing guidance and counseling to students and supervising their projects, reports and practical activities.
7. Commitment to office hours.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

1. The applicant must have a Ph.D. or Master's degree from an accredited university in one of the following specializations:
   • Architecture.
   • Interior design.
2. It is preferable that the applicant has experience in teaching and academic work for a period of not less than two years after obtaining the Ph.D. or Master's degree.
3. The applicant must have master engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, 3d Max, SketchUp.
4. It is preferable that the applicant has practical experience in the field of architecture or interior design for a period of not less than two years.
