The Arab American University is seeking to appoint a "Faculty Member" in the Faculty of Science / Forensic Biology Department starting from the fall semester 2024/2025.

The faculty member is expected to be able to teach and provide lectures as well as interactive classes. The faculty member is also expected to be committed to transferring the necessary knowledge and skills to students and to be highly professional and committed as well as to be a positive role model for students

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and guiding students in understanding forensic concepts and applying them practically, including practical training as well as giving lectures.
2. Guiding students in virtual reality laboratories and various practical laboratories.
3. Conducting exams and assessments for students.
4. Conducting innovative research and studies and participating in scientific seminars.
5. Supervising students' research, reports and scientific activities and guiding them scientifically and ethically.
6. Adhering to deadlines.
7. Participating in evaluating and developing curricula.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

1. The applicant must have a master's degree or Ph.D. in forensic biology, specializing in FORENSIC DNA BIOLOGY, from an accredited university.
2. The applicant must have experience in teaching and academic work for a period of not less than two years after obtaining a master's degree or the Ph.D.
3. Full-time commitment to the University work.
