• To provide knowledge, skills  to the students in order to develop an intervention plan based on:
  • Patient assessment.
  • Patient’s goals and priorities.
  • Patient device training and follow up.
  • Expected outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Cooperation with other medical and rehabilitation professions
• To make the students able to identify, interpret and use verbal, written and nonverbal Communication skills that are effective within diverse situations.
• To prepare the students to use clinical reasoning and research evidence in patient centered practice and to make the students able to read and understand current research that effects practice and the provision of prosthetics & orthotics.

Graduates are prepared for careers in local hospitals and private prosthetic-orthotic facilities as well as other agencies locally and internationally. AAUP designs its courses with your future career in mind and partners with a range of professional organizations for accreditation and registration, such as International society of Prosthetists and Orthtists (ISPO), American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists.

This career so exciting that you spend your day enjoying several roles as a medical team player to specialist, then artist and engineer who designs and manufacture the device in the workshop to a humble good person who cares for the disabled.
