Overview
Nursing simulation is a vital tool for enhancing education, offering students realistic, hands-on experiences in a safe and supportive environment. It bridges the gap between theory and practice, allowing students to develop critical thinking, clinical skills, and confidence. As the Simulation Center Coordinator, I ensure that simulation scenarios are thoughtfully designed and closely aligned with curriculum objectives, fostering effective learning opportunities.
To achieve this, I collaborate with course coordinators and regularly review the simulation manual to ensure it reflects evidence-based practices. Through frequent meetings with the Dean and simulation staff, we establish schedules for courses, assessments, and finals, maintaining the seamless integration of simulation into the nursing program. These efforts ensure a high-quality, innovative learning experience that supports student success.
