What will I learn

The following topics are covered in the Bachelor of Statistics and Data Science program:

  • Data Analysis Techniques: Using contemporary instruments and software, hone your practical abilities in data gathering, analysis, and interpretation.

  • Integration of Mathematics and Computer Science: Develop your ability to solve challenging statistical issues using concepts from both mathematics and computer science.

  • Research Methods: Learn the abilities required to plan and carry out research projects, such as gathering, organizing, and cleaning data.

  • Statistical Methods Across Disciplines: Learn how to use statistical methods in a variety of subjects, including the social sciences, healthcare, and economics.

  • Data Security and Ethics Practices: Learn about the best practices for data security and privacy as well as ethical issues.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Gain the capacity to use statistical and data analytic methods to propose solutions to actual situations.

  • Communication Skills: Improve your communication skills to effectively convey statistical results to audiences that are both specialist and non-specialized.

How will I learn

You will learn Statistics and Data Science through a combination of the following methods:

  • Classroom Lectures: Class sessions involve lectures, video shows, case studies, discussions, debates, and PowerPoint presentations on topics and current issues related to the course contents.

  • Reading Materials: Textbooks, research papers, and online resources will be essential for deepening your understanding of lecture topics.
