What will I learn

In the Communications Engineering program, you will study:

  • Electromagnetics and electrical power engineering.

  • Signals and systems, digital signal processing, and communications.

  • Optical and mobile communications, antenna engineering.

  • Microwave systems and network communications.

  • Digital logic design.

How will I learn

Students will engage in a mix of theoretical lectures and practical applications, participating in discussions, solving complex problems, and working on group projects to strengthen their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

They will also spend time in laboratories, experimenting with equipment and analyzing system performance.

In addition, students will take part in workshops and hands-on projects.

Through the internship program, they will have opportunities for field training in local and international companies, gaining real-world experience and applying their knowledge in a professional environment.

Jenin campus

The Arab American University operates two campuses: the main campus in Jenin and a newer campus in Ramallah. The program is delivered at the main campus on Telfit Street, Jenin, Palestine. Typically, all academic activities associated with the program occur at the university's main campus in Jenin, Palestine.

Classrooms

Classes are conducted in classrooms and laboratories during the day. Since 2019, the university has implemented a blended lecture system, combining in-person instruction with online sessions via Zoom when necessary.

Libraries

AAUP’s Library is located on the 4th floor of the IT building on Jenin campus. The size of the library is about 1400 square meters, where the stacks, reading areas, staff work areas, and computers for library applications are located.
