Dr. Wael Abu Hassan, a faculty member of the Allied Medical Sciences/ Department of Health Sciences, recently published one of his reviewed articles on “Quality of Life Assessment for the Enhancement of Psychiatric Health Care Delivery: Psycho medical perspective” in the Iraqi Journal of Psychiatry - Alwarkaa\', which is considered to be one of the Iraq Ministry of Health and National Mental Health Council publications.
The recent conceptual and implementory work comes as a contribution to highlight the extreme need for the assessment of Health Related Quality of Life issues in our day-to-day medical and paramedical practices; a thing which is neglected and still denied in the Arab World Health Settings.
Furthermore, the article with its rich and thorough cited resources and references is a call for the Arab Health Ministers to revise their strategic plans and paramedical policies for incorporating Quality of Life Assessment and related components within the health care deliverance systems.
