Dr. Laila Herzallah, Assistant to the President of the University for Community Affairs, highlighted the AAUP's endeavors to provide the local community with competencies and experience, which in turn contribute to sustainable development and empower the employees with scientific and practical skills and capabilities. The training course was held following the University's visit to the Local Government in order to identify the needs of employees. 

Dr. Malek welcomed the students, praised their commitment, attendance and choosing the major of Medicine, involving its long and arduous path on the one hand and challenging for creativity and achievement on the other. Moreover, Dr. Malek shared the story of his scientific career in order to encourage and motivate students to move forward with the aim of attaining their scientific dream and career.        

The meeting also included short lectures, in which they have been introduced to the Faculty of Medicine and the means of communication between the Faculty and students.

ورحبت الدكتورة لبنى بالطلبة، وتم تعريفهم بالخطة الاسترشادية والإجابة عن استفساراتهم بخصوص التسجيل للفصل الدراسي الثاني، وشرح الأنظمة والتعليمات التي تهم الطلبة وتعمل بها الكلية.

وحول التجربة قالت رفيدي: "كنت فخورة بتمثيل فلسطين في هذا الملتقى الدولي، وكانت التجربة ملهمة حيث قدم المؤتمر منصة للحوار والتعاون والمناصرة، أشعر أن لدي التزام جديد بالدفاع عن بيئة كل فرد وحقوقه، خاصة أولئك الذين يواجهون تحديات مختلفة عن تلك التي أواجهها"، مشيرة أن الدعم الذي قدّموه كشباب لم يقتصر على الجوانب اللوجستية فقط؛ بل أن مشاركتهم شكلت إحساسًا بروح المجتمع والهوية الجماعية.

وأضافت: "اليوم لدي قناعة أكثر من أي وقت مضى أنه لا يمكن تحقيق العدالة البيئية دون تحقيق العدالة الاجتماعية وحقوق الإنسان".
