The Deanship of Students’ Affairs at the University organized a guidance symposium for students about how to manage the psychological pressures, and hosted the physiologist Khader Rasras, the Lecturer at Birzeit University and the Educative Manager at the Rehabilitation and Treatment Centre for Torture Victims. This symposium aimed to aware and guide students about the sources of the psychological stresses and how to deal with it and get rid of it.

A group of the Arab American University students visited some patients at Jenin’s Governmental Hospital. This visit was organized by the Deanship of the Students’ Affairs under cooperation with the English Language Department to strengthen the connection with the local community.
The social worker at the Deanship of the students’ affairs Ms. Laila Herzallah indicated that the goal from this visit is to strengthen the relations between the students of the Social and Psychological Guidance Club and the patients of the hospital.

The Biology and the Biotechnology Department at the Arab American University under the cooperation with the Biotechnology Science Association organized a fair to show the achievements of the students of the department. This event is as a celebration to the DNA day that comes at the 25th of April of each year.

Under the cooperation with Jawwal Company, the university chose 20 students from the interviews that were arranged with students who applied to participate at the training program “Ana Jawwal” under the motto “Be ready to Challenge”.
This training program aims to richen the experiences of the students by making them go through many experiments with specialties from the company. This will give students the chance to put some promotional plans and to implement them at the university and the local community.

Professor AbuMwais commenced the first Applied Medical and Biological Sciences Conference that was organized under the cooperation between the University and the Ministry of Health. This conference aimed to develop knowledge in the Medical and Biological Sciences in order to serve the community by gathering the Palestinian researchers.

The Vice-president for Planning and Development Dr. Osama Salameh organized a workshop that was targeted to the University employees about “how to write researches by using LaTeX Program”.
This workshop aimed to spot light on the LaTeX program and to develop the employees’ skills on writing researches by using this program.
