AAUP Hosts a Five-a-Side Football League for the Vanguards of Tubas Football Academy in the (Challenge and Resilience Football League)

The Arab American University has hosted a five-a-side football league for the Vanguards of the Tubas Football Academy, under the slogan “Challenge and Resilience Football League.” Five teams participated in the sports league, bearing the names of the cities of Gaza, Rafah, Shuja’iya, Jabalia, and Deir Al Balah.

The football league was attended by the Assistant to the AAUP President for Community Affairs, Dr. Laila Herzallah, the Director of Sports Facilities, Mr. Hassan Nassif, the Director of the Academy, Mr. Omar Mahasneh, the member of the Tubas Municipality, Ms. Maha Salameh, and the Chairman of the Pioneers and Scouts Authority and Team Captain Maher Salameh.

AAUP Participates in Sponsoring "Al Quds and AlKarameh" Championship that is Planned to be in AAUP International Stadium

Arab American University participated in sponsoring “AlQuds and Alkarameh” championship that is planned to be in 19 March 2022 until 30 March 2022 under the auspices of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas "Abu Mazen" and His Majesty King Abdullah II “Abu Hussien” of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Six Palestinian and Jordanian Clubs will be part of this championship which are: Al-Wehdat SC, Al-Ramtha SC and Al-Faisaly FC from Jordan and Rafah Club, Hebron Club and Jabel Mukaber Club from Palestine.

Eng. Bara Asfour- the Assistant to the President of AAUP expressed his pride to choose Arab American University International Stadium to host the games and said that the university has financially supported the championship in addition to opening the other sports facilities for this championship

Arab American University Graduates the Participants in the "Personal Trainer" Course

The Sports Facilities Department in Arab American University graduated the “Personal Trainer” course that was trained and supervised by Dr. Maen Zakarneh that covered 210 training hours which many students, graduates and people from the local community participated in.

Eng. Bara Asfour- the Assistant to the President, Dr, Maen Zakarneh- the course trainer and a Lecturer in the Faculty of Sport Sciences in AAUP, Dr. Uday Daraghmeh- the Sport Facilities Manager in AAUP and Mr. Fadi Jumaa- the Public Relations Manager attended the graduation.
