The Arab American University and the Palestine Monetary Authority Hold a Lecture on Financial Technology

The Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the Arab American University in Ramallah and the Palestine Monetary Authority have held a lecture for the Faculty students on financial technology and mechanisms for benefiting from technological solutions to support entrepreneurs and those with innovative ideas.

The lecture was presented by the Head of the Financial Technology Department at the Palestine Monetary Authority, Mr. Samer Afaneh, and was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Dr. Majdi Owda, and as well as many Faculty lecturers and students.

AAUP’s Academician and Cartoonist Mohammad Sabaaneh Participates in the Prishtina Comics Festival in Kosovo and Delivers Lectures at the University of the Arts in London and the University of Copenhagen in Denmark

Cartoonist and academician at the Faculty of Modern Sciences at the Arab American University in Ramallah, Mr. Mohammad Sabaaneh, participated in the Prishtina Comics Festival, which was held in Kosovo.

During his participation, Mr. Sabaaneh has launched the Albanian version of his book, “Power Born of Dream” published in the United States, making it available in five languages. The book includes scenes from the lives of Palestinians under systematic occupation, and in 2022 it won the award for the best translated book on the Palestinian case.

During his attendance at the festival, Sabaaneh participated in an exhibition by a group of international comic artists, where he displayed a collection of his artwork.

An AAUP Group of Medical Students in Ramallah Complete Practical Training at the Hclinic Specialty Hospital

A group of second-year medical students at the Arab American University in Ramallah have completed practical training that lasted for two weeks at the Hclinic Specialty Hospital.

The training was part of the cardiovascular system course, where the students underwent their first clinical training experience. This training included skills in checking blood pressure and heartbeats, identifying heart disorders, basic skills in reading electrocardiograms (ECG), and heart conditions such as chest pain, breathing difficulty among others. The training also included introducing the students to the hospital wards, their working mechanism, as well as the administrative procedures followed in the medical system.
