The Arab American University received a delegation from Nvidia Company, Palestine Branch, with the aim of discussing joint cooperation between the two parties as well as other projects.
The delegation was received by Dr. Hazem Khanfar, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mohammad Marei, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Engineer Mays Awad, Director General of Hassib Sabbagh IT Center of Excellence at the University, and a group of academic staff from the two Faculties.
During the meeting, ways and mechanisms of cooperation were discussed to train students at NVIDIA as well as the implementation of several initiatives in order to develop the practical and skill aspects of students in the Faculties of Engineering and Information Technology.
NVIDIA is one of the largest global companies producing graphics processors, visual display cards, and chipsets for computers basing its headquarters in California, USA.
