An AAUP Academician Participates in a Scientific Symposium on “Journalism During War” in Morocco

The Arab American University has participated in a scientific symposium on the reality of the work of journalism and journalists at times of crises and wars in Morocco.

The scientific symposium was organized by the “Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif Agency” in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, on the sidelines of the distribution of awards for the second session of the “Al-Quds Al-Sharif Award for Journalistic Excellence in Development Media,” which went under the name of the late Moroccan journalist Mohamed Al Agdhaf Al Dah.

"The Arab American University" Commemorates World Press Freedom Day

The Arab American University has commemorated the World Press Freedom Day by holding an educational symposium organized by the Department of Arabic Language and Media in the Faculty of Arts and Education in cooperation with the Student Union Council, and hosting journalist Ali Samoudi.

The symposium was moderated by the Head of the Arabic Language and Media Department, Mr. Sudqi Mousa. The symposium was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Education, Dr. Jamal Hanaysheh, lecturer in the Arabic Language and Media Department, Dr. Imad Abu Hassan, lecturer in the Department of Arabic Language and Media, Dr. Mahmoud Khlouf, lecturer in the General Culture Department, Dr. Mousa Odeh, the President and staff of the Student Union Council as well as University students.

AAUP Holds Photography, Montage and Sound Engineering Training Courses for Its Students

The Department of Arabic Language and Media at the Arab American University has held two training courses on photography, montage and sound engineering techniques in cooperation with the Radio and Television office at the University.

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Education, Dr. Jamal Hanaysheh, said that these training courses were held enhance students’ knowledge, especially in light of the occupation’s efforts to distort the Palestinian narrative and obscure the facts and violations committed against Palestinian journalists. He noted that the University provides its students with the necessary capabilities to graduate students qualified for the labor market and able to compete.
