The Arab American University Holds a Symposium Titled “What’s New in the Current War”

The Faculty of Arts and Education at the Arab American University, in cooperation with the Student Council, has held a symposium titled “What’s New in the Current War”. The symposium was attended by a group of University students, and presented by a member of the Legislative Council, Dr. Jamal Hwail, and a professor of political sciences at the University, Professor Dr. Ayman Yousef.

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Education, Dr. Jamal Hanaysheh, inaugurated the symposium with a speech in which he stressed the importance of the symposium’s themes, and the importance of large and active student participation in all activities rejecting the war of genocide in Gaza.

"The Arab American University" Commemorates World Press Freedom Day

The Arab American University has commemorated the World Press Freedom Day by holding an educational symposium organized by the Department of Arabic Language and Media in the Faculty of Arts and Education in cooperation with the Student Union Council, and hosting journalist Ali Samoudi.

The symposium was moderated by the Head of the Arabic Language and Media Department, Mr. Sudqi Mousa. The symposium was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Education, Dr. Jamal Hanaysheh, lecturer in the Arabic Language and Media Department, Dr. Imad Abu Hassan, lecturer in the Department of Arabic Language and Media, Dr. Mahmoud Khlouf, lecturer in the General Culture Department, Dr. Mousa Odeh, the President and staff of the Student Union Council as well as University students.

Lightening the Christmas Tree in AAUP

Student Union Council and Shabeba in AAUP have organized the ceremony of lightening the Christmas tree for the coming Christmas and the New Year.

The speeches in the ceremony asserted on the social unity in the university in specific and in Palestine in general, indicating that all the Palestinian people of all colors and religions must stand hand by hand for the State of Palestine and its capital Jerusalem.

The ceremony included artistic shows by AAUP choir, and Christmas candies were given to the audience.
