This general international meeting is a platform to meet medical students from different parts of the world, exchange ideas, plan activities to improve global health, and attain the vision of the International Federation of Medical Students. The vision of IFMSA is to strengthen medical students, help them make change, and engage youth in decision-making.

The international meeting includes over 1,000 medical students, representing different countries of the world, such as the Middle East, Europe, Africa, East Asia, North and South America.

The festival had a distinctive representation of the Palestinian narrative on German cinemas and presented a Palestinian perspective to Arab and German audiences.

The event was held over four working days by providing treatment for medical cases suffering from fears, anxiety, stress and depression, in addition to post-traumatic stress disorder and chronic pain. The number of the cases was over one hundred and thirty.

The provision of acupuncture treatment was supervised by a medical team and health staff specialized in Chinese medicine techniques and guided psychotherapy, led by Dr. Nawal Awad, a Chinese medicine specialist, and Dr. Wael Abu Al-Hassan, a lecturer at the University and a specialist in clinical psychology.
